What's New in Release 6.0 (60 minutes)
This webinar highlights key concepts for new features in C7 Release 6.0. The release introduces a set of tools within CMS to automate the provisioning of Ethernet downlinks from a C7 network to an E5-110 or E5-111 node (supported topologies include basic downlinks, linear-chain downlinks, and RSTP downlinks). The release also introduces support for SIP voice service, integral to GPON ONTs, which house the new SIP agent. The release adds support for the new C7 IMA-12 card, which expands the previous six IMA group limit per link and incorporates both T1 and HDSL port types. Other featured enhancements include improvements to H.248 (VoIP) service and 1:1 equipment protection for C7 DS3E-4P cards.
